Internship

More than a placement. Our internships combine real conservation work, structured training, and professional mentoring inside an active conservation organisation

Unlike placements where you simply assist with daily tasks, our skills-based model means every intern leaves with recognised competencies and meaningful professional experience. Ideal for students, gap-year participants, aspiring researchers, and career changers.

Internship Pathways

6-Week Core Internship

A strong foundation in conservation fieldwork: turtle and reef techniques, surveys, sustainability, data management, scientific accuracy, and professional field conduct.

12-Week Leadership Internship

Everything in the core programme, plus advanced training and mentoring: leading field surveys, training volunteers, project planning, public speaking, and designing a legacy project that leaves a lasting contribution to JTP.

  • A JTP Completion Certificate signed by our CEO

  • A personalised professional reference

  • A verified competency record of the skills you developed
