Internship Pathways

🐢 Sea Turtle Conservation Internship

Our flagship route: an immersive introduction to wildlife conservation and field research. Train in beach patrols and nesting surveys, hatchery management, turtle tagging and photo-ID, in-water monitoring, reef health basics, data collection, and conservation communication.
🤿 Marine Conservation & Research Diving Internship

Train as both a diver and a conservation fieldworker. Develop scientific diving, reef monitoring, fish ID and underwater surveys, benthic assessments, coral restoration, and in-water turtle monitoring. Dive pathway may include PADI Open Water, Advanced Open Water, JTP Conservation Research Diver, and Reef Check EcoDiver.

6-Week Core Internship

A strong foundation in conservation fieldwork: turtle and reef techniques, surveys, sustainability, data management, scientific accuracy, and professional field conduct.

12-Week Leadership Internship

Everything in the core programme, plus advanced training and mentoring: leading field surveys, training volunteers, project planning, public speaking, and designing a legacy project that leaves a lasting contribution to JTP.
