Community-Based Conservation on 📍 Tioman Island, Malaysia

The Juara Turtle Project is dedicated to sea turtle conservation, marine ecosystem restoration, and community-led sustainability.

Since 2001, we've been working alongside the people of Juara village to protect nesting sea turtles, restore coral reefs, and build a future where both nature and communities thrive.

Our Mission

To protect marine biodiversity through science, education, and community-driven conservation.

🐢

To protect marine biodiversity through science, education, and community-driven conservation. 🐢

We believe change starts with people. Every nest protected, every reef restored, every person trained creates ripples beyond Tioman's shores.
